With Copilot now announced for release on 1 November, I am wondering if/when pricing and offer details for nonprofit organisations will be released? UPDATED: Microsoft sent affected nonprofit organisations an email similar to the below on Wednesday/Thursday 14/15th May announcing that Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant is being discontinued. A similar message was sent out regarding the end of the Office 365 E1 grant offer. The Tech for Social Impact Team Azure Grant Update Effective October 1, 2023, the Azure grant is now USD2,000. You’ll no longer be able to renew at the previous Azure grant level, and at the next grant renewal on or after October 1, 2023, you’ll be granted USD2,000 of Azure sponsorship credits annually as long as you remain eligible to receive such grants. At your next subscription renewal on or after October 1, 2023, the price for the five granted licenses of Dynamics Sales Enterprise will increase from USD0 to the standard nonprofit discounted price. The nonprofit customers have been made aware of these changes. Act now to prepare your nonprofit customers. Microsoft 365 Business Premium & Office 365 E1 grant discontinuation on CSP and Web Direct channels Microsoft announced on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, that the Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant and Office 365 E1 grant on CSP and Web Direct Channels will be discontinued for nonprofit customers upon their next renewal date on or after July 1, 2025. To support nonprofits during this transition, Microsoft continues to offer: Up to 300 granted licenses of Microsoft 365 Business Basic. Discounts up to 75 percent on many Microsoft 365 nonprofit offers, including Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Office 365 E1. In fiscal year 2024, Microsoft is taking two important steps toward the retirement of the CSP legacy commerce platform. Beginning in November 2023, public sector (academic, government community cloud [GCC], not-for-profit [NFP]/charity) offers will be available in new commerce for new and renewing customers. Starting in January 2024, Microsoft will begin automatic migration of all renewing commercial and public sector customers to new commerce. Effective July 1, 2025 Microsoft is introducing updated pricing for Microsoft Teams Phone and Power BI starting July 1, 2025. Currently, there are no pricing changes for customers who purchase Teams Phone or Power BI through Microsoft 365 E5 or Office 365 E5 annual term subscriptions with annual billing. TEAMS PHONE Teams Phone is enhancing communication experiences for organizations of all sizes. Over 20 million PSTN enabled users have turned to Teams Phone for its AI-powered features that enhance communication and keep organizations connected with improved management, reliability, and survivability. Starting on July 1, 2025, we're making the following changes to our per user pricing: Teams Phone Standard will be $4.00 per user, per month ($48.00 per user/year) Teams Phone with Calling Plan (country zone 1 - US) will be $12.32 per user, per month ($147.85 per user/year) Teams Phone with domestic calling (country zone 1 - UK/Canada) $5.10 per user, per month ($61.20 per user/year) This update marks the first price increase since Teams Phone launched in 2017. It is reflective of the increased value we have delivered to our customers to enable flexible, smart, and reliable calling natively in Teams.
