Is Solution Partner designation and Specialisation mandatory to participate in Solution Area Awards or can ISVs participate in Industry Specific Awards, Social Impact Awards and Country/Region Partner of the Year without solution partner designation.

Hi there, please refer to specific award eligibility requirements for the best answer here, as eligibility requirements differ per award. Some may require either a Solutions Partner designation or participation in ISV GTM programs.

Hi JillArmourMicrosoft can I know what portal should be used for submission?

Yes you can! 🤩
- KeikoCopper Contributor
Could you kindly provide any clarification for guidance on joint nomination? Thank you.
- AlexaDespenas

Hi Keiko, joint nominations are allowed. If two organizations collaborate on a submission for their joint solution, and that nomination is designated as a winner, both will receive recognition. If you have additional questions, please feel free to email us at potyasup@microsoft.com.

For eligibility requirements, some of the awards are drafted in a way that we have to make assumptions. If the award owners could go take a look and see if "and/or" and indentations should be added to add clarity, that would be so helpful. One example is Sustainability. We ASSUME we don't have to qualify for all three of the last three bullets (Services, ISV, OEM) but it's not explicitly articulated that it's one of the three.

What is the rationale behind the shortened submission window? From now until July 18 is less than two months, includes two US holidays (Memorial Day and Independence Day), and takes place over summer break from school. Christmas break might be the only time period worse than the beginning of summer to gather input and consult with internal stakeholders in order to create meaningful submissions.

Hi there, we made adjustments to the program timing so we could better align to Microsoft Ignite, which is now when our winners are celebrated, and announced shortly before. Given the shortened nomination window, we provided program assets a month in advance to allow partners to prepare submissions before the nomination window officially opens.

Will partners be able to apply for the regional awards across all categories, and through the same tool & process? For example, if a partner from Germany applies for Global ISV in the Partner Innovation Awards category on a global level, will there be an equal award on the Germany level that they can also 'tick'?
Thanks- AlexaDespenas
Microsoft
Hi Iva, within the nomination tool, category nominations can be tagged to a country or region which submits the nomination for both the category award and the respective country or region award(s).
- Iva_VlasimskyCopper Contributor
Thanks. Just double-checking: They, for example, apply for Telco (global level) AND Telco (regional/ country level), and they can do both; don't have to choose, right?
Now, if they want to also apply for the Country Partner of the Year Award, with basically the same story, and maybe a a couple of extra mini-case studies, would you advise that or the above goes straight into the Country Partner Award contest?

Could you provide a clarification of rules and guidance for joint nomination? Thank you.
